Expert Child Care from 6 Weeks to 12 Years Old

At this critical stage of development your baby is growing and changing almost over night. That is why our program emphasizes the importance of the interactions between our teachers and your child to promote cognitive and social development. In addition to providing a happy and safe environment for your infant, we also provide an atmosphere that helps promote your child’s social and creative development. Daily activities include stories, singing in English and Spanish, naptime, exercises to encourage small development through music and movement. Our classrooms and equipment are designed for your infant to develop safely while discovering the world around him or her.

Toddler Care

Toddlers are busy discovering the world around them and your trusted Directors at Apple Academy can channel your toddler’s energy and curiosity into language development by way of storytelling, improving motor skills with playground exercise and daily fun activities. Daily group activities allow your child to practice cooperation, sharing and taking turns, and provide enjoyable opportunities for getting to know others. Our classrooms and equipment are designed for toddlers to safely explore as they and improve coordination. Snacks and Meals provided.

Daily Care Program

Each day active minds soak up knowledge like a sponge. Your child’s day will be filled with fun and educational activities sure to stimulate the mind. Activities include, reading arts and crafts, painting, and more. At Apple Academy each day we teach them that learning is fun, rewarding & exciting.

Extended Hours

Apple Academy offers extended hours from 6pm-12 Midnight. As a special service, dinner is provided after 6pm. Rest assured your child will be cared for in a safe and secure environment from the moment you drop them off until you pick them up at the end of the day.

After School Program

We take your child’s education as seriously as you do. Our after school program incorporates group interaction and individual time for students to catch up on reading, get help with homework assignments or have a quiet place to study. We make sure their creative spirit is constantly regenerated in interesting, exciting ways.

Snacks Provided

We provide healthy nutritious snacks for your child while in our care. Active minds and bodies need nourishment for healthy development and that is top priority at Apple Academy. We also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner in conjunction with our Extended Hours program.

Computer Curriculum

Even children at the kindergarten stage can benefit from early computer skills and introductions to technology. Apple Academy’s curriculum is geared towards familiarizing your child with the basic knowledge of computer use through teacher assisted activities. Improves fine motor skills using keyboard & mouse to draw and play games. Activities are developmentally & age appropriate. Spanish Curriculum

The world is rapidly changing, and the need for upcoming generations with the ability to communicate across cultures has never been greater! Learning a second language can help children grow and develop in cognitive, language and social development. The more language learning there is, the more cognitive development there is. Songs, games, colors, numbers, & activities are presented in Spanish, introducing your child to the basics of a foreign language. Our classes are full of energy and allow children to learn Spanish while having fun together.

Sign Language Curriculum

Infants - The pre-verbal communication is wonderful for reducing the stress of the baby and parent. Just because they cannot speak does not mean they do not know what it is they want (i.e. milk, diaper change, eat, more, blanket, bear, etc.). They can easily tell you all of these things and more in sign long before they develop the ability to speak.

Toddlers - Learning a second language early in life pre-wires the brain to learn additional languages easier. The research is showing that young children can learn 4-5 languages simultaneously. Sign language enhances fine motor skills, as well as, vocabulary. When learning sign you memorize the hand movements, just as you would any word, only most signs are iconic in nature and as such are easier for the children to learn than the spoken word which only has the meaning of the word we attach to it. When taught together with English (and/or Spanish as we recommend) it gives the child additional connections within the communication process that enable them to learn concepts faster and enhance their learning of other languages.

Preschoolers - Sign language is a great tool for enhancing literacy. As previously stated it enhances word recall and learning. It also is a tremendous tool for enhancing literacy. Children learn concepts quicker as they are given more and better ways for their communication centers to understand and recall concepts. This speeds the learning process. They can be taught more at a younger age. The teaching of the alphabet and numbers via sign greatly enhances the children's understanding of those concepts and accelerates their reading ability

Elaborate Playground

Our state of the art playground facilities offers the right combination of safety and recreation. Our facilities gives your child the chance to build and improve motor skills, hand/eye coordination and teaches core values like, sharing and teamwork, and just having fun!

Summer Camp

Summers are filled with adventure and excitement at Apple Academy. In this camp-like atmosphere, field trips and daily activities expose your child to historical and cultures sites around Orlando enriching their lives and creating memories for years to come.

Enrichment Programs

Each semester, Apple Academy focuses on a unique Enrichment Program geared toward enhancing your child’s daily life. Programs include dance, Spanish, karate, sign language, and much more. The key to having a well-rounded outlook on life is to be exposed to different experiences that will broaden your child’s horizons and cultivate interest in different fields of study.
